Connecticut Sun Waives Adrienne Johnson

Jeff Smith reports this afternoon (5-25-2011) that the Connecticut Sun pro womens basketball team has waived three players, including former Lady Techster Adrienne Johnson.

Sun head coach Mike Thibault is quoted, "...she needs more experience playing on the wing," adding that he hopes she can get that playing overseas.

Adrienne was the 28th overall by the Sun in the third round of the 2011 WNBA Draft.
