No. I am not a very sympathetic person.

YouTube has NOTHING to do with removing the comments. They can if they so choose, since they own the site; but, the owner of the video, the one who uploaded it to the site, is the one who is more than likely removing comments.

Depends on the content of comments removed. Selective censorship in any form is deplorable, and that is what Wikipedia is known to do.

If the contents of all comments violated the YouTube site rules, fine. The owner of the video should have only one option...to allow comments or not. After that it should be only comments in violation of the YouTube terms and conditions that are removed.

It would be best to allow the Christians to have a prayer, any Muslim students to have a prayer, and any Jewish students to have a prayer than to ban all prayer. And I think that would be in line with the spirit of the Constitution as well.

This is why I don't get the aversion to the "moment of silence." It gives everyone the opportunity to pray whatever prayer they want, or no prayer at all.

Out of curiosity, how would you guys have reacted if the person designated to speak had chosen to give a Muslim prayer?

Every graduation I've attended has had a pastor from a different local church, so the Islamic center on Homer St should get its turn eventually right?
