Yeah, that's total bullshit. Again showing your lack of a grasp on reality.

There is no "supposed" about it.

Second (Beck's research): It was to set a new precedent for interventions across the globe. It's a sovereignty issue. Samantha Power wrote a book "A Problem from Hell." She laid out in it that America has a moral obligation to intervene in such situations as Libya. Her book was eventually adopted by the UN as "the Responsibility to Protect Clause:" "If a state fails to protect its citizens from "genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing, and crimes against humanity," it becomes the international community's responsibility to do so."

The problem is that it is being used selectively and politically... why Libya and not Syria, Yemen, Bahrain, etc...?

Beck's concern: This is really about how the US can go at Israel to protect the Palestinians.
I agree with most of this, but what does any of it have to do with Israel or Palestine?

Samantha Power is no friend of Israel. She is on record as having said the US needs to spend billions of dollars investing in "a mammoth protection force" for the Palestinians. They need a "meaningful military presence" to defend themselves against Israeli attacks. She has also said war is a great instrument to spread liberal and radical values across the globe.

Google her. She's a nutcase and unfortunately, she's one of Obama's senior advisers.

Another good article on Power / Israel:

“The problem for those who favor a strong US-Israel relationship is that Power seems obsessed with Israel, and in a negative way. Much like the authors of the Baker-Hamilton report, she believes resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is central to solving other problems in the Middle East. And it is clear that her approach to addressing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict would be for the US to behave in a more "even handed" fashion, which of course means withdrawing US support for Israel, and instead applying more pressure on Israel for concessions.”

This is why Glenn Beck is doing his rally in Jerusalem in August. He believes the US is setting Israel up and is close to changing sides in this dispute.

You can Google "Samantha Power anti-Israel" and find plenty of people who agree with him. Just because the mainstream media chooses to look the other way doesn't make what Glenn says entertainment.

Stanley Kurtz wrote a good piece about her: http://www.nationalreview.com/articl...y-kurtz?page=1

Samantha Power emerges as a patriot’s nightmare — a woman determined to subordinate America’s national sovereignty to an international order largely controlled by leftist bureaucrats. Superficially, Power’s chief concern is to put a stop to genocide and “crimes against humanity.” More deeply, her goal is to use our shared horror at the worst that human beings can do in order to institute an ever-broadening regime of redistributive transnational governance.

Holy $#!7... JuBru is a better man than I. I would make a weekend trip out of finding you and kicking your @$$ for saying that to me. All I can say is that I'm glad they give the guns to him instead of me. You talk a personal game for a person unwilling to sign his name to a post.

Yes he did! And that's why Obama cares not about Syria where their Pres. Assad has killed 1000's of his own people in the past few weeks. Syria doesn't have much oil and gas. You are still the idiot when it comes to understanding global politics.

Actually it's Muslim Hussein Obama that is setting up to betray Israel to the detriment of America. I truly believe that Obama and America will incur God's wrath per economic chaos and natural disasters if he continues down this path.
