He has until Aug. 15 to decide whether he will sign a professional contract with the Brewers or play college baseball. Typically, a high school kid drafted that late isn't going to get enough of a signing bonus to make them forego college ball. If a kid drafted in the 28th or later does sign a pro contract, it typically means he's not a good student and didn't want to play college ball to begin with.
