Just stupid! Put him in and be done with it. I seriously doubt that all of the other members of the HOF were saints.
At least one was.
Buddy Davis is doing an article on Mike Green and Matt Dunnigan for this Sunday's Ruston Leader....
Be on the look-out for it....
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
If I were a member of the Tech HoF I would insist that players the caliber of Green and Dunigan be in it. Otherwise, the whole institution is tainted. I mean, if players like this can be left out...an obvious travesty and miscarriage of justice...not to mention pure stupidity, the whole selection/decision process is called into question. Meaning!!! some that are in, maybe shouldn't be!
Think about it, one cannot say that all inductees are deserving "because the process is flawless and incapable of making a mistake." They have made a mistake(s), correctable only by inducting Green and Dunigan.
So, again, if I were in I would insist this mistake be corrected. Else, the whole Tech HoF is called into question. At least, the selection process is.
*note, obviously I am NOT implying there are any undeserving inductees presently. All the more reason to clear the air.
So why is Dunnigan not in? Is there something in his off field life too? It's kind of absurd to be missing one of Tech's top QBs--and probably the second most successful in terms of pro career.
