I am not talking about Seattle -
I am talking about Arkansas basketball -

Here is a quote from the Ark. Demozette by their recruiting guru in today's paper. "Qualls has scholarship offers from Jacksonville, Louisiana Tech, Texas-El Paso, Tulane and others while drawing interest from Arkansas." Is he committing to Arkansas without a scholarship offer?
Arkansas brought him in for Midnight Madness. You don't waste a recruiting visit that weekend on a kid you don't really want...
I saw today where he commited to Arkansas
And I'm telling you that being a "top flight" program 20, 30, 60, or 100 years ago is not the same thing as being a top flight program now.
If you have a losing record in your conference over ten years, that pretty much by definition puts you in the bottom half of the conference, right? Is the bottom half in the top flight?
Agreed. The SEC as a whole (top to bottom) has sucked in basketball the last couple of years since the FLA win.
I probably should've said "high profile" instead of top flight. At any rate, had they hired Mike Anderson when Nolan left--the last decade would've gone much better.
I still say that the Arkansas program is a TOP 20 gig as far as college hoops goes...
And is arguably the 2nd best gig in the SEC behind UK, regarless of Florida's 2 recent NC's -

Hard to believe it's been 17 years since ARK won it's first and only under Nolan R.
