Tech's Jefferson 'A Dependable' Pro Starting Lefthander
Former Louisiana Tech lefthander Mike Jefferson "developed into a dependable starter" in his rookie season as a pro, playing for the State College Spikes, lasting "five innings in each of his final four starts," Guy Cipriano writes on the State College, PA Centre Daily Times website.
Jefferson "ended his first professional season by allowing two hits in five innings" as his team beat Batavia 4-3 yesterday (8-31-2011) at University Park.
This was in contrast, Cipriano wrote, to his first start when the 22nd-round draft choice gave up "five hits and six runs in 2/3 inning."

Hopefully I'll get to see him some in Bradenton.
