Well hopefully if the Cowboys win the lawsuit they don't subsequently institute an illegal program, get asked to stop with no punishment whatsoever, instead keep the illegal program running, get caught again, lie again, cover it up and instruct coaches to lie to NFL investigators and the then finally apologize only after MOUNDS AND MOUNDS of evidence are presented to us. Hopefully we don't do that because if we do Goodell might then use the fact that we won a lawsuit against him as an excuse to punish us more severely.

Owners vote to impose cap penalties on Cowboys, Redskins

Getty Images The collusion continues for the NFL.
Two years after the league tried to place extra pressure on the players in the season before the lockout by not treating the “uncapped year” like a truly uncapped year, the NFL took action against the teams that decided to treat the uncapped year like an uncapped year.
And now, to close the loop, NFL owners have unanimously decided, with one abstention and with the Redskins and Cowboys not voting, to reaffirm the $46 million in cap penalties. Albert Breer of NFL Network reports that a Tuesday morning vote resulted in 29 ayes, no nays, and one “pass.” (Our guess is that the Raiders abstained.

First, Hall doesn't play for the Saints. So, it's okay.

Secondly, knocking Tony Homo out of the game actually does the Cowgirls a favor!

Cowboys, Redskins lose their appeal on salary cap penalty

Last Updated 11:49 AM, May 22, 2012 EDT

The Cowboys and Redskins have lost at least one battle in their attempt to get back the combined $46 million in salary cap space that the NFL took away from them.
NFL general counsel Jeff Pash told Judy Battista of the New York Times that Special Master Stephen Burbank dismissed the grievance filed by the Cowboys and the Redskins.
Dallas lost $10 million in cap space and Washington lost $36 million in cap space, to be divided between this season and next season, after the NFL — with the backing of the other owners — found that they violated the spirit of the rules in their spending during the uncapped year. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and Redskins owner Dan Snyder argue that they didn’t violate anything because the lack of a salary cap meant there were no rules — in letter or in spirit — restricting how much money NFL teams could spend.
