Game tonight - Saints - Packers

I think the Pack beats us tonight and normally I would be OK losing to the defending champs on the road week 1 but I got a Pack fan that is talking so much smack that I can't help but get pumped up for this one. I would love to make him eat him constant stream of words.

Not completely accurate. I think the last SB defending champ to lose was the Elwayless Broncs. It has been a while, and those were special circumstances. I dont know about before that. I heard that on ESPN radio today.

That SUCKS! Brees was avoiding Tramon's side most of the 2nd half tonight. Tramon just got an attoboy by the announcers, 10 mins later, he gets hurt. That sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Peyton is a good coach and a smart guy. How does he make a mistake like he made with his last timeout? Granted, the NBC guys agreed with the call, but that probably shows it was wrong right there. Called the timeout with 2:08. Saved 8 seconds. How many seconds would it have saved on the play after the 2 minute warning? Those 30 seconds would have been big at the end of the game. The 2 minute drill has been a big part of the game for 30 years. It surprises me how often basic mistakes get made.

You're right. Somehow I was making it 3rd down after the 2 minute warning either way. Doing math after 10:00 at night isn't my forte I guess.

That hit looked PAINFUL. Looked like the other packer ran his helmet into his shoulder. Looked like he maybe popped it out of socket, at least.
