Yeah, that was kind of the turning point for Lady Techster Basketball. We were still good for a while after that, but things kind of went downhill from there. Who knows what might have happened if Beard signs, we win another NC, and Leon decides to retire on top....

Beard made visit to Tech
Happened to be on a day that KM was throwing one of her tantrums and had thrown stuff out of her office.
Beard chose Duke quickly after
KM got over it and stayed on - apparently this was a common occurrence with her.
Beard was our one missing piece to be able to put together a NC that year.
We went down in recruiting after that

Chelsea Newton was there as well and went to Rutgers although her family wanted her in Ruston.

If you haven't seen her play try to this season before she suits up as a Techster. From the time she stepped on the court as a freshman all she has done is light it up. As my son said the 1st time he saw her play "she's legit". She hasn't had a ton of talent around her so most teams come into the game with one plan, stop Lulu. Few succede. You also need to know that her coach is pretty legit as well.
