For the second time in as many days, Louisiana Tech took 15th ranked Michigan down to the final at bat but a leadoff home run by Amanda Chidester in the bottom of the seventh lifted the Wolverines to a 5-4 win over the Lady Techsters.

We lost two games to the #15 softball team in the nation by a total of two points. I'm hoping that's a sign that the Techsters are much improved this year and will go far.

Softball arms don't really get tired like baseball arms. That's how many softball teams can use the same ace pitcher every game.

Not unusual in a softball game. I've seen a number of complete doubleheaders thrown by one pitcher.
Told y'all I didn't know much about pitching.
The Lady Techsters have a doubleheader at home Wednesday against Southeastern at 3pm and 5pm. Only home game until March 13 so come out and support the ladies.
