The parking beef is ridiculous. We have probably the cheapest parking and closest availability or free parking of any FBS school. It is a non-issue.

To our grads, if you have a Tech degree, $10 should be nothing!

Parking non-beef aside, Joe Aillet Stadium's set-up for parking and TAILGATING is one of the best of any D1A football venue out there. Period.

And I know things tend to move at their own pace on the IH-20 corridor:icon_wink:, but I'm glad more and more people are starting to figure this out. Tailgatin's starting to get pretty impressive at the Joe.

Concessions may not be "fixied" totally, but after the first game of the season several, SEVERAL, changes were made for the better, including ice in cups. So, IMHO, a shallow blog which needs to be updated immediately with pictures of inside the stadium and a list of more than two off-campus eat joints.

Overall, it was a good review. Every year I have to have the "parking isn't as bad as you think" lecture with my students, so that is nothing new. I did notice a significant improvement in the concessions from the first game, but I would like to see some infrastructure upgrades made in the concession area. I am glad that fan involvement has increased significantly in recent years, let's not stop now though!
