Tchen cited in Jussie Smollett case, credited for new SPLC initiative

It’s because just one of their acolytes, onetime Michelle Obama chief of staff Tina Tchen, suddenly is casting a long shadow.
She’s been named as one of the instigators of a “whitewash,” as the Chicago mayor called it, for “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett. A grand jury accused him of faking an attack and accusing Trump-supported whites wearing MAGA hats of the crime.
Chicago prosecutors abruptly dropped those charges this week, although he still could face investigation and charges for allegedly sending himself a death threat through the U.S. mails.
And it was revealed that Tchen, a “Smollett family friend,” had written to Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx, whose office handled the Smollett deal.
