Haha.... you said STAFF.
He could not win when he had all the toys, how in the world is he going to succeed when he has very few of them?
USA Today released their new and improved coaching salaries database today.
Opening post updated with new link.
ArkSt's Hugh Freeze is the lowest paid coach in college football. He'll be one and done in Jonesboro.

Has Fedora already cut a deal with Ole Miss? Some people in Oxford believe so.

That would be pretty unfortunate for USM. Ole Miss definitely needs a better recruiter. Nutt has always suffered in that respect.
Wow! If this is true, this is downright brutal. It's one thing for a coach to leave for a much better job (e.g, Dooley), but to leave a very successful USM program for an in-state rival like Ole Miss......that's just nasty. He's stabbing every USM supporter in the state in the back. Ouch!!

Didn't want to start a new thread, so I'm sticking this in this thread. Interesting, but not shocking:

Whoa! Another potential opening about to occur? Remember, this IS a politically correct society.

I don't think they will fire him. Replacing him would be quite a chore. He is a very good coach who made a really bad decision.
I bet he won some USM fans over this year. I talked to a guy last night who played for Fedora at Air Force (he was his position coach). He had a high opinion of the guy and said he always knew he'd do well.
If I remember correctly, USM ran off a pretty good coach in Bower in order to "take the next step" and while Fedora's been decent he hasn't really been a huge step up from Bower (until this season - maybe).
