    The "then" being blamed, was not the children themselves, but those around them who presumably must have heard about it and did not try to have the perpetrator (Sandusky) prosecuted. I think D80 made an excellent point.

    Think of it this way, if Holtz and a random John Smith together killed a man, should we prosecute Holtz with higher punishments because he is a football coach, or should they receive equal punishment for the same crime?
