Boy, I think I remember a number of us thinking we should at least be talking to the BE a long time ago. This may not be anything but in the position we're in we should be trying to get our foot into any open door (except for the belch).
That's cool maybe we can work a trade with ECU or Memphis???
If all the conferences lost their AQ bids like the BCS is talking about, then we might be better off getting into Conference USA.

I don't see any teams in the Big East right now or in the near future we can't compete with. I'd rather be in a regional conference, though. If the west division was SMU, Houston, UCF, USM, Memphis and Tech that would be a good regional conference.
It is now. It wasn't originally. I read it several times to make sure it was real.
Thats the only thing I am getting, as well. And no even if you read down the references to "Tech" are about Geaorgia Tech. Nothing to do with Big East or us.
It was about Tech, us!, being mentioned as a possible pick to the BE. I read the article.
