A 2-1 record this weekend should be considered a big success if it happens. Wyoming beat Portland State 65-51, so we can use that score as a measuring stick tomorrow.
Any win this early is good. I'm hoping maybe we can slip up on some people early and build a good resume before conference play. We have some really good basketball in conference this year.

A win against anyone this year is a good deal.
White got more out of Souza and Lewis in one game than Rupp did all last year. Last season, all Lewis did was foul. It is huge for us to get offensive productivity out of those 2.
With this team, they are going to have to play fast and make the game ugly to get wins. As they start to gel, it will get better and better. Right now we dont need to play an half court game. We dont have the players to do that but we will in time. We meed two big time transfers that can score.
Exactly right! I hope our fans can understand this disclaimer--we cannot play a controlled, half-court game with this group! We have to play fast. We have to play ugly. As the season progresses, there will be more continuity to the phrenetic madness...
