For those that didn't stay the entire game or didnt come at all - NMSU showed great sportsmanship by standing in the endzone at the end of the game. They could have left and gone to the locker room, but instead they stayed around to let us celebrate. It is good to see a team show class like that.

DeWayne Walker is a class guy having coached at UCLA. His teams show that same class...noticed and was not surprised.
May they have a safe trip back home.
They could have easily walked to the dressing room w/out disrupting the celebration. They walked to the north end zone and took a knee for a few minutes in tribute to the WAC Champs. It was a VERY classy thing to do.

I was impressed with New Mexico State. We won convincingly but they played with class and didn't give up. And when the game was over, the way they moved off as a team into the north end zone while the trophy presentation was made was the picture of class. I have a lot of respect for them.

I can honestly say I've never really had anything bad to say about the red Aggs. Class move that didn't go unnoticed!

Their coach was definitely telling them, "This is what a championship looks like". Either way, I appreciated it.
