1% - 99% - Is it Possible to fit neither

What if someone was thrown in with the 1%-ers but didn't really feel they fit in there with Bill Gates or they didn't really completely agree with everything Wal-Mart does? What if a 99%-er was on welfare, and didn't want a job, or what if he/she were at about 1.01%? would they have the option of rounding up and going to hang out with the investment bankers or would they have to occupy with the rest of the gang? Is there a more realistic breakdown of factions of the two groups - possibly by annual household income? Maybe there needs to be something like 1/1 which is the top 1% of the 1%-ers like the Walton family or the bottom 99% of the 1%-ers maybe that's the sergeon down the street or is it the college professor around the block. I just seems like a crazy place to draw a line. I still don't know what they want, maybe I am one of them, but just don't know it. Maybe some of them would pack up and go home or back to the homeless mission if they knew what the group wanted and didn't agree.

I would guess that based on the public's perception of the OWS mob, if you're a 99%er, you're a socialist.

Lets forget the marketing B.S.. There is not,ans never was a 99%. There is about a 2% who have no idea what they want, but know they want it now and free. They have no respect for anyone else or themselves for that matter. Their protest have shown what many of them actually are. That is why there is violence, and a complete disrespect for society.

I'm embarrassed for the people of my generation 20-29 who are out there begging for handouts and railing against "corporate greed." Kills me that they thinks they are smarter than those who believe "corporate greed" represents freedom and individual ambition.

I feel sorry for these 99%ers, but it seems that some of them are what many parents warn their children they could become if they don't put forth a bit more effort and take advantage of what the US offers everyone.

Exactly! Reading their little letters, many of them just don't like their life as it seems empty in many and most ways. And they are looking for someone to blame other than themselves. IMHO, most of these folks need to read the book of Proverbs in the OT, need to read the NT and desperately need Christ.

I don't think they would go for it because Proverbs, to me, seems to be an assignment to work for wisdom as something of great value. And these folks already don't seem to want to work for money so something intangible like wisdom is probobly way out of the question.
