It looks like Keith Richard has not changed his approach much. I always liked the guy personally and think he could be a good coach. But, this ULM deal appears to be a total disaster!

It's a train wreck. He was the only one they knew they could give the job to and the few folks over there that care would have patience with...
He inherited a horrendous APR problem and Keith has always had problems with APR to begin with -
They played their best game of the year against us and still lost -
The arena is sorely outdated and we literally drove up to the front door and parked

Speaking of APR, Coach whatshis name (head Warhawk) was on the Aaron Dietrich show this morning. He basically talked about two subjects.... How the Warhawks played TCU in football this year (wonder why he mentioned that), and how recruits are really impressed with the ULM brand when they are visited. And ULM is going after athletes who have better scholastic credentials than ANY school in this area... well, you know, because they kind of have to because they have been hit so hard by the APR thing.
I am glad I was not drinking coffee.

Given the political & economic climate and the mess SU is in down in Baton Rouge and the basketful of rotten easter eggs that Cofer left behind - they may not have a choice...

McDowell will be a candidate at ULM if Richard continues to bomb.
McDowell should be able to do quite a bit better than that.
What has happened with SU? Are you talkin about SUNO?
I am amazed that they continue to operate business-as-usual. When do the bills come due? Anyone know?

Chuck - they should start rearing thier ugly heads within the next 9 months
McDowell better steer clear of the juco, unless they go back to the Sunbelt, saying that place is a train wreck right now might be understating the situation...
KR is the only one they could talk into taking and inheriting the mess he has, and they KNOW its probably another 24 months before they can even hope to see the light at the end of the tunnel and unless he decides to step aside they will not be relieving him of his duties.

How do you think their fans felt this when TNS ran two front page stories referring to LaLaff as UL?
I realize TNS may have to run the story as written, but they dumb arses didn't have to put them on page one. What a bunch of goof balls!
