That is very generous of those players and they are men of high caliber! Makes me proud of them!

This blew me away . . . . Cole went to the Poinsettia Bowl chairman and told him this event with Make A Wish Foundation changed his life.
First kid he visited, he took his PBowl watch off and put it on him.
Moments later Quinton Patton comes over and gives the same kid his $300 Best Buy gift card.
Cole then went over to another table and gave his $300 gift card to another child.
"They're just material things," Cole said. "They need it more than I do."
Wow.
Just Wow.
Working on pictures now, so pictures of this are coming.

This foundation in San Diego has helped many kids with terminal situations.
Pictures to come . . .
This just blew me away.

This should become a major selling point for Tech:
Our players are caring, unselfish, outstanding Southern gentlemen, even if they aren't from the south. You won't find that at many other schools.
Wow! Is all I can say.
Awesome, awesome, awesome, I know they didn't do this for recognition but it needs to be recognized! I put it up on Facebook, we need to spread this story I want to hear the ESPN announcers talking about it Wednesday night!
i have had many reasons to be a proud Tech graduate, but none more than this. thanks guys.
Truly HIGH MORAL CHARACTER stuff by these college kids who don't have much themselves, but are willing to give to others who have much less.
Per Sonny D's Facebook:
Coach Sonny D
You always hope you recruit not only great athletes but also men of character. Today showed we have great men of character on this team. I am so proud to be a coach of a group of young men that gave their bowl gifts to young children during our Make-A-Wish Foundation event. Unbelievable generosity.
Just awesome!
Good job, guys. This is way more important than winning the game.
