You can't keep financing stuff...

...there does, however, need to be an organized and planned campaign when seeking to raise money. Getting 8 great guys in their 80's to make calls and sent emails is not a plan...and its sets those 8 up to fail.
I'm an asshole! What's your excuse?
Cartek, wasn't disrespectful. He's correct that charging eight people that are not regularly engaged in fund raising and not active daily cultivating contacts in the business community, with the sole responsibility of raising a sizable sum in a specific time frame is an unfair assignment.

Just kidding Cartek. Glad to see all the interest in getting this done.
All the guys that are doing the fund raising are GREAT guys and love Louisiana Tech. Unfortunately, they were given a very short string...not a lot of time and not an inconsequential cash goal. It would have been nice if they had had a willing donor stick an unannounced $50K in their pockets before they ever started.

On agenda for April 24th Board of Supervisors for UL system.

Do we really have to ask permission from the UL System Board to name a conference room after someone?
YEP -
And to declare surplus property and then subsequently demolish or sale it....
