Give right of first refusal to the current holders of the seats. One would have the opportunity to purchase their own seats...

Yeah i wonder about that too. I know you can probably remove the chairs individually or by section, but you will end up having the next seat hinge still attached to the chair.

Also are our chairs "floor" or "riser" mounted?

    floor mounted

    riser mounted

We need to show the admins that there is a demand for it.
I'd e-mail Bruce and Eric. Adam would probably just end up forwarding your e-mails to Bruce.

Here is that link to the staff directory again.

Anyone know when the removal process will begin?

If they arent going to sell them, I wonder if they would let me go remove a few myself?

I saw this when Tennessee renovated Thompson Boling Arena. They sold the seats in a bar stool form and in a duel seat form. My budddies bought some for the game room. Pretty profitable at 150 dollars a pop.

That's my plan. I am not too proud to do a little dumpster diving.

Better to ask forgiveness than permission, you know.

Looks like they would be popular items. Depending on the cost I would be interested in buying my row.

    Re: Old chairbacks

I asked Dooley about selling the old seats tonight. He said he did not know if there were commitments on the old seats, but they would see if they could be sold. As far as the bracket for the adjoining seat, you can cut it off and grind it smooth. No big step for a stepper.
