Parrish: UT focusing on Mike White for HC vacancy

I worry now about the 2015 recruits. How can MW sell himself and Tech when those recruits and their families see what happened over the weekend. IMO, that's one reason why there needs to be a public statement -- to be a bit reassuring towards those HS juniors who are watching this.

They are not naïve -

They KNOW how college basketball works, and this is one of the things we have to deal with when we are successful

No statement is needed or should be expected

One thing he does in the recruiting process is sell this young men on TECH and what TECH can do for them and they need to make sure this is a place they can be happy getting a degree when its not basketball season

Not saying he doesn't sell them on him and himself, but its about the PROGRAM and SCHOOL FIRST not Mike White the Head Coach
