Why not recruit people that you strongly believe will love and care for the university long term? After reading some of the stupid things said on Twitter by some of our own Tech students, there's no way in hell some of those people could have gotten by me in an admissions interview. As the old saying goes, it ain't "Rocket Surgery". Start sending MANY of these a-holes to NSU and ULM.
So, please define a great student vs. an unexceptional one. One could say that a top quality educational institution would inspire students to achieve great things and give back to their university and community.
