Yeah, I get that. If they're paying $3 million a year (or more, I think, for the longer-term members) then you can afford $2.4 million or $3.2 million or whatever to leave.

But if it's that meaningless, why bother with the GOR to begin with*.

AND, why agree to it if you have any hope of getting out**?




*I think the answer to why bother if it doesn't help is just the same as any other exit fee agreement - if you leave at least we get some (more) cash out of it.

**Best I can come up with is "just in case it's not us we get some cash."




I mean, in the end all we did was vote in a sliding scale jumbo-double exit fee structure.
