- SMU --a team LA Tech beat down 51-10 in the 2017 Frisco Bowl-- won the AAC Conference championship this week.

- Liberty University, a school very few of us ever heard of 5 years ago, just won a trip to a New Year's Day Bowl.

The point is, there WILL BE LIFE for LA Tech football after the Sonny Cumbie era ends. All of these teams faced the same "Transfer Portal" issues and "NIL recruiting" issues, etc....that LA Tech faces, and yet they figured out a way to have very successful seasons. We just need some Tech leaders to grow some balls, make a few tough business decisions with personnel, and GET OUT OF THE WAY.

This seems so common sense and straight forward, yet we will be amazed at just how difficult this will be. I hope Henderson is the guy but like D80 said, I think he is just here to get in his 20 years and retire, especially given how he was hired.
