Unless he's from there or an alum, he would be crazy to take that job.

Not really. Minnesota has the money, they have the facilities, all he would need to do is get some really good recruiting classes under him. He's already experienced how it is at a non-bcs school. You have to be perfect or you get nothing. Sometimes when you are perfect you still get nothing. Obviously it is not like that at BCS schools.

I do. Taking the Minnesota job would be risky for sure.
However, losing one game at Boise will get you the same type of bowl that Minnesota would get if they lost 5. Go figure.

And at Boise, you can always be the big dog. At Minnesota, you will always be the 8-9-10th team in the conference.

IF you are not successful at recruiting and coaching. If Peterson is so good of a coach, I'm sure he can move Minnesota past Indiana, Purdue, and the likes.

He knows the west coast and recruiting much better. That's where (PAC 10) I would see him going if he left at all.

Not a bad hire. I think Kill is very underrated. He's got a tough job on his hands though since he has very little name recognition.

This is who UNT should have hired. Too bad they moved so quick.

No way Tyler. Greg Davis sucks. Every UT alumn I know wants him gone ASAP. They have wanted him gone since before Vince Young took over but Vince saved him. He is brain dead. The only reason he has had a job this long is he is Mack Browns old friend and he lucked into Vince. I wouldn't want him as an OC at Tech much less a HC.

Rumors have it that he will be strongly considered at Stanford if Harbaugh leaves.

Greg Davis was making $900,000 as OC at Texas. UNT drastically increased the head coaches salary but not that much. Besides, I wouldn't want Davis on a bet.

Yes they do. But their fans and alumni are one of the largest group of spoiled babies I know in D1. They think they should win the NC every year and everyone else in the Big 12 are below them. And I don't just mean in football. They don't call those snobs "teasips" for nothing.

Indiana hires Kevin Wilson, Oklahoma Offensive Coordinator

He won the Broyles Award for Assistant Coach of the Year in 2008. He's a former OC at Miami (OH), Northwestern, & Oklahoma.
