I have followed at a distance, but it seems like the underperfomance began in the second half of the Little Rock game coming off the decent west coast showing. Does anybody else agree with this ? What else happened besides losing Redding ?
It seemed like the team was sloppy on offense and defense when they played against Houston before the west coast trip. After the trip, the team was also sloppy against SMU and ULM. The Tech-ULM basketball game reminded me of Tech-Grambling football game in that Tech took an early lead, but could never put their opponents away later in the game.
For some reason, the sloppy play finally caught up with the team at the Northwestern State game, and the team has gone downhill ever since.
I've said it from the get go -
15 D-1 wins and he deserves an extension....
I told some folks before the season that I would hold me tongue on this year and try to stay as positive as possible (seeing how this is my absolute favorite TECH sport) but its becoming very hard to do -
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
we are so, so bad
.....in every sport
I was impressed at Boise that the team seemed to fight all the way through the game. That clearly did not happen against Idaho, and that is unacceptable.
With the team this young, there are going to be more losses that we would like. But a few more no-effort performances like at Idaho will make me question whether this staff is worthy of staying around regardless of the W-L record.
After 8 WAC games, the home team has won 7. The only road victory was NMSU @ Idaho and the red Aggies overcame a first half deficit to win by 5.
