Continental is running some deals on flights to San Diego now. When I looked this weekend they were around $410 roundtrip. Now they have some leaving on Sat, Mon, or Tues, and returning on Saturday the 24th for $218. Unfortunately you have to stay a couple of extra days in San Diego after the game for the cheaper price. :icon_wink:
I just bought round trip tix from IAH to SAN (Tuesday AM - Friday PM) for $310 + tax.

Heard from someone today that flying Allegiant from Shreveport to Vegas and then Southwest from Vegas to San Diego is also a possibility. I know those are 2 economy airlines, but they are efficient and could be cheaper than other options. It would get you there without driving to Houston and no rental car from Vegas.
