TCU got a lot of play from their a announcement?
As a resident of the DFW area I can honestly say this is the only place where I have heard/seen/read that TCU sold its allotment.

Pay attention to the end of this video

Nevada has sold 10 (ten) tickets to the Hawai'i Bowl through its ticket office.

Not really sure why everyone's panties are in a bunch over this...
I live in California and I've read and heard about TCU's ticket allotment being sold... was also mentioned during the USL-SDSU game... I've heard NADA about Tech's. Just telling you what we hear outside the box... it's been a headline on most sports sites as well as the news out here in California... would be nice to hear Tech sold theirs. And yes, it does make a difference to future bowls how many fans travel. Don't kid yourself.

Quote from my father from last nights battle of the bands:
"Tech fans outnumbered TCU fans at least 5 to 1."

That's great that we had more fans at the Battle of the Bands -- I love it -- so let's see an article about it! Because if anyone looks to see how ticket sales are going and does Tech bring fans -- all they see online is that TCU sold out and ordered more.
Go ahead -- google "Louisiana Tech ticket allotment" -- see what comes up....
I agree. It could be very damaging among members of the general public who happen to google "Louisiana Tech ticket allotment".
You chose the weirdest thing to get worked up about.

We sold ours, that is all that matters!

+1

All I know, is there are TECH people all over the place out here!! We had about 20 folks in Tech gear on just our flight out here to San Diego, not sure how many more were not wearing blue on the plane. Driving on "The 5" freeway to our hotel, a car blew past us with TECH car flags flying. CK4.1 said, "Dad, pull over and lets put our flags on!" So we did!![]()
