it doesn't look like the BE will have all its loose ends tied down by that point (namely whether Air Force and/or Navy join and, if not, who the replacements, such as ECU/Memphis). I hope this doesn't stop CUSA from moving forward.

It's a done deal with Air Force... however, Navy may still be in play. We haven't heard anything since the initial leaks. Navy seems a great fit for Big East football, based in Anapolis, MD right in the footprint with huge media markets (Baltimore & Washington DC).

All indications say that Temple is "on the clock" for expansion.

So the Big East picks up Temple (Philly market) - Navy (Baltimore-DC market) to get to 12, and the heat's off CUSA/MWC for the foreseeable future. So, I don't see why they sit back waiting to be poached, when there's still a fairly plausible scenario that there would be no more poaching taking place.

He may have missed the timing of these 4 great things for Tech BUT, no. 3 & 4 have come to pass and no.'s 1 & 2 could come to pass in the rather immediate future. So, I would do nothing but extend a quiet compliment to the LB for what I think are some accurate predictions.
