I realize there is nothing that can really be done about this, but how can Louisiana be taken seriously with shows like "My Big Redneck Vacation" making us look like idiots? I saw my first episode and it was ridiculous.

the only good one inside Louisiana is Cajun Pawn Stars
"Sons of Guns" follows the company Red Jacket in Baton Rouge.
But, yeah, these so-called reality shows are stupid. Typical of the entertainment business, no imagination. Just duplicate others' ideas, over and over again.
I kind of like "Gold Rush - Alaska" the continuing saga of losers trying to mine gold. But, no one can be as stupid as dem fools. Has to be purposely staged problems.
The next series to come out will be "Janitor Wars." They will follow a contract service that cleans office buildings. Oh! maybe they'll catch some executive boinking his secretary on his desk. That'll add some spunk to it.
Goes to show you just how low our nation has sunk under libtard rule. It's no longer just a dumbing-down of America, and the feminization of America, it's the "we are doomed" America! How else can you explain such shows being popular?

I can't stand any of these shows. Gold Rush is too hard for me to watch. No one is That stupid.
I like Alaska State Troopers and Border Wars on the National Geographic channel. Sometimes watch Pawn Stars on the History channel. That's about it for "reality" though.

Caged and Swamp People. Watched each once. Never again.

I think all the Louisiana shows are because of the film incentives in the state. I love the Flying Wild Alaska show, as someone training for my private pilot's license. They may exaggerate here and there, but most of it is real.
I died laughing watching the Redneck Vacation show.... the Bayou Billionaires was bad though.
The boys Golf outing had me in tears!!

It's Hollywood's/Libs/media chance to make fun of the "fly over" GOP voting portion of the country. They especially love making fun of the south. Plus they're probably pi$$ed that Louisiana is getting some of the film industry however small.
That said I enjoy the Pawn (both shows), Survivor, Amazing Race, Swamp People and Pickers. Just watched the two out of Shreveport, my Big Redneck Vacation and Bayou Billionares last night for the first time (replays).
