This year's Super Bowl extravaganza will clock in at around three hours. For diehard fans, that's the blink of an eye, and for others, an eternity. Can it be that the playing time on the field is less then 15 minutes? The Wall Street Journal did some nifty calculations and found commercials eat up more than 60% of the broadcast, replays get about 17 minutes, and the time the pigskin is actually in play? It's about 11-13 minutes.

These days they use all sorts of dials, knobs and fancy computers to predict whether the weather is going to mess up our day. Seeing how completely wild weather can be, we think we should be glad we have them. Even if they didn't see all this rain coming. Really?

I watched the game since it was close and that made it interesting. IMO...the difference in the game was: the Giants receivers made the difficult catches when they had to...and the Patriots' receivers did not! Otherwise....everything else was just about even.
That and the patriots shot themselves in the foot early with that intentional grounding in the endzone. Without that all they need is a FG to win instead of a TD. In any case I am happy the Giants won.
YEP the Pats did shoot off some of their toes!
