Ruston needs a Freeb!rds. Cheap, GOOD eating. A college staple.

Freebirds, again??? It is an average burrito joint. There are much better options.
Jordan Mills on choosing Tech:
“It’s a great experience seeing them play. It was a good atmosphere. The fans stood up the whole game and never sat down. They have a great fan base.”

Freebird's is the Nickleback of buritto joints....
''Don't be a bad dagh..."

Tijuana Flats. THE BEST BURRITOS...and home of the "FLAT heads"
Born out of a UCF student's business school project, and now operates franchises all over the southeast. The SALSA bar from mild to wild is out of this world!!

Cafe Rio is my favorite.

How about Taco Cabana? Anyone out there eaten there? I like it, myself. You can have a brewski and quality Mexican "quick" (not fast) food here. Prices are decent as well.
Been done with Freebird's ever since they gave me the bottom or the rice barrel rice, it was dry and crackly, owrst burrito I have ever had. I havent been back in 3 years because it was just okay before that. Of course, all of my aTm colleagues are obsessed with it, but we are know they are suckers for nostalgia. Mission Burrito in Houston is awesome. Chipotle's is horrible. I have been to Q'doba a few times, it was okay. Moe's is a joke to me. Chuy's (sit down restaurant) makes a solid burrito with fajita chicken and cheese, but is better known for drinks and night life. Taco Cabana, Chacho's, etc. are subpar, but good if you want to have the runs all day the next day...
I been to some good and bad Taco Cabanas. Germdawg took me to one in San Antonio that was really good. I had a bad experience with one in Dallas that gave me the squirts all day.
If I ever decide to come back to Ruston, I would open a Damgoode Pies franchise from Little Rock. $1 PBR.

Freebirds is good, Taco C is the bomb. My brother keeps talking about wanting a Chipotle.
Izzo's ANY day over chipotle.
