As far as the LSUS thing - as a degree holder from both schools, if the merger succeeds then athletics should go away at LSUS...

I for one agree with parts of the article...maybe it should have been framed different and he shoul not sound like a cry baby. I for one do not favor athlectics leaving the shreveport school...i think cusa is a good move but it is not the conference we envisioned. Plus he is right on about dooley.

The Times articles (except for a few they publish during the day) always go live right at 2:00 AM.
The News-Star's articles are usually published around 1:30 AM, but the times vary a little.
I think the writers' deadlines are 11:00 PM. Not sure though.
My guess is the 12:42 AM time stamp shows when the editor pushed it through, but it didn't go live until 2:00 AM.

If Jimbo complained about the lack of info on any other topic, I'd sympathize with him. Our admin just wasn't going to talk about this, and they shouldn't have.
I think he got all pissy about Rupp not doing interviews. This seems to be how he rolls: spoon feed me info or get slammed.

Yep he's an idiot trying to steal our joy---don't let him. CUSA is a great move and Tech will reap so many benefits. In the words of Joe Biden: "This a big f**kin deal."
I remember talking to Jimmy during the 08 Indy bowl. He was so fired up to have Tech playing in that game, and has been a strong supporter with many great articles about us back when nobody wanted to talk about us. IMHO, something must have happened, because he was at one time the only PRO TECH beat writer in North LA.

Could it be similar to what you see some people do when following a band from the start, when the band hits it big these fans call them sell-outs, have spite for new fans, and reminisce about seeing them in dive bars...
