Wow... What a classless, pathetic move by the LSUS administration... That school doesn't deserve a professor as great as Wayne Hogue... Now LSUS gets what they wanted: ignorant professors like David Gustavson and Charlene Barlow and a death spiral spinning out of control... RIP LSUS... I hope Wayne Hogue takes Tech up on the job offer...

Probably the best candidate to be in charge of business program in Tech's SBC extension. Can't beat the connections he seems to have with SBC business leaders.

Wayne Hogue has always been a supporter of the merger (NOT "Take Over") for the right reasons and I have quoted him on occassion. I truly hope TECH does the right thing and bring him into the fold. This University and any other University should be proud to have an associate like him onboard. Wayne has always taken it in stride and approached this with a common sense approach and not one based on bias and emotion!

I never had a class with Hogue, but know a bunch of students who did. They rave about him. Other LSUS business profs spoke highly of him, saying he is one of the best instructors they have seen.

NSU has joined the fray in offering Hogue a position. He will land on his feet...and make more money too.

I know Sisson. Been in numerous meetings with him. I can say he fights for LSUS. He's a very strong advocate, no doubt about that. But, also find him to be "too emotional" at times. Managers/leaders have to keep cool heads and understand what's important. Knowing what I know, I can say Sisson had a knee-jerk reaction and childishly dismissed Hogue because of their differing opinions. Sisson should be dismissed as well.

Why does Big Ced love us so much?

Hogue is gonna work at LSUS again, as vice president of La Tech, head of La Tech West.

LSUS officials are preparing for next year's merger attempt. They are prob clean house to rid of any pro-mergers.

Hogue does not have a PhD and is therefore limited in what positions he can hold. I don't agree with that! Just saying, that's the system.

Big Ced loves Tech...as does countless others. Well, in some cases "love" may be the wrong term. But there is tremendous respect for Tech across the state and region. I have been well, floored! by some of the compliments I've been privy to, coming from some sources I never would have thought. Goes to show you, some people can set aside pettiness and honestly convey sincere observations. The truth is the truth.

One correction, NSU has not offered Hogue a position. But, they are considering it.

I hope he takes the Tech position, he wouldn't be the first/only non-PhD professor at Tech.

The outcry on facebook is enormous... This is getting ugly... and it's exactly what LSUS asked for by fighting against the merger...
