There needs to be some adjustments made for Tech XXI. Tech XIX suffered heat stroke and was retired and now Tech XX died of heat stroke. Its no secret that Bulldogs don't do well with heat. There needs to be preventive measures put in place to ensure that we don't lose another Tech to such circumstances.
I hope all you people in Ruston that used Sexton to take care of your pets, drop him immediately. Let him move his clinic to BR.
Please go to the Facebook page, all I see are comments about how sad it is, yes it's sad, but more so Tech students and alums should be PISSED. Our Admin have mismanaged the handling of our sacred mascot, yet again and we must not accept and move on, it is well past time to change!

That's bullshit. Having a bulldog cared for by a vet and his family is the best life a high maintenance dog could have.
Negligence on the part of the vet's office (and the vet with whom the buck stops) is the issue.

Good idea and not too much to ask for considering some schools spend millions on live mascots.

I am very upset at the news of Tech XX's passing due to the actions of one person. I want to know the whole story! Where has his body been this whole time, and why hasn't the person who forgot about him being outside been charged with cruelty to animals leading to the death of an animal to exposure?
Last week a couple was charged with leaving their Boxer pup in hot car, found dead, while they were entertaining themselves at one of
local casinos in the Shreveport-Bossier area, they were charged with cruelty to an animal.
