I know there's a lot that don't care about womens bb too much, but we lost to Purdue in the final four the last time we went. I'd like a lil football redemption for that!!

Playing in Dallas is a whole lot better than Shreveport or nowhere.

    Re: HOD Bowl

They are just trying to gauge interest from the fans of respective schools that could possibly be invited. Purdue and MN are two possible teams that could fill the b1g spot. Tech could fill the other. Not going to make or break anything if we win or loTwitter "war" but it can't hurt.

I'd rather see LaTech vs Purdue, but just be happy to be playing vs an AQ team in a bowl game

    Re: HOD Bowl

The schools they've mentioned on Twitter have been us, Purdue, Minnesota, Iowa State, and Baylor. And as for the matchups they did for there re-tweet battles, those were just for the re-tweet battles. I don't think they're actually considering matching two B1G schools against each other.

Also, FWIW, I tweeted them the other day, saying "Are y'all still looking at @latechFB for the Heart of Dallas Bowl?" and they responded with "Still in the mix."

Us versus either of the Big 12 schools would be preferrable...

That guy (Jerry Kill) scares me. I'm afraid he's gonna die on the sideline during a game. He had another heart condition issue (hate to call it a "heart attack" because I don't know if it was) last week during a game. That's TWICE in 2 years he almost died on the sideline.
