Serioulsy, congrats to ULM. This is a big deal for them. First ever bowl game.
I hope we have better options, but if we don't we HAVE to take it.

1. Why would I bowl offer 2 regional teams? Zero TV interest in that one?
2. I really don't believe we would say no to any bowl without knowing where we are headed.

How would ESPN promote a Tech/ULM game?
Maybe the hatred angle? 2 teams, 20 minutes apart, they hate each other so much they won't even play each other. Now, they are forced to play. Who will win the battle of I-20?
Yep...took Tech three (3) Division I/I-A/FBS seasons to get a bowl game...took nlULM twenty-six (26) Division I/I-A/FBS seasons to do the same thing.
And for the record this is nlULM's 3rd D-I/I-A/FBS winning season in 26 years to 14 winning records in 31 D-I/I-A/FBS seasons for Tech.

Call me crazy but as a former player at Tech, I would love to see LaTech beat the shit out of Northeast LA. It won't do much for for the program but I enjoyed beating them up.
