The way I see it, the Indy bowl screwed us, if indeed, they only gave us an hour to make a decision. The knew we were waiting on other bowls to see what we had lined up. They couldn't have given us at 4 or 5 hours to call a team meeeting and let the players and coaches decide if they wanted to settle for the Indy or hold out knowing we might go without? That's why I don't care if we ever play in that cesspool again, and I'll never attend a game there again Tech or no Tech.

I would love to pin this on BVDV, but the fact is a once in a lifetime set of circumstances prevented a bowl appearance. It was no one's fault.

My $0.02. I thought the odds were that either NIU or Kent State might jump to #16 were pretty good. it seemed to me that the openings at HoD and Liberty were long shots at best at that point.

No WAC stroke. Not in CUSA yet.

Take the Independence Bowl. ULM sits at home because I seriously doubt that they/ESPN would want a Tech/ULM match-up. No TV's.

They played the heavy hand because we pissed on their feet THREE TIMES in the last couple weeks and TWICE this week, and then tried to say it was raining!
1. When they came to our last home game.
2. When Dykes got on the radio and said we didn't want to play in a bowl "Too Close".
3. When we turned them down yesterday!

We had a spot today (albeit against ulm because we didn't accept yesterday) but Tech chose not to publicly apologies to the bowl after we publicly dismissed them.
If people want to give blame there is plenty to give!
