I agree with this. In hindsight, JB-3 was a classic case of someone being in over his head.

What spread kid in Louisiana would not want to play for Dunn. La.Tech has hit a home run last year with the high powered offense. The big receivers that come out of these spread offenses will come to Ruston instead of the run oriented bigger schools. We have the kids right here in La. to win but we have to use our La. ties to get them. Somehow Dunn convinces some pretty good recruits to go to La.College because he wins there. Have you ever been to La.College??? How could you get anybody there??
Hire Dunn and put asses in the seats and create the greatest show on turf in north Louisiana..

JUST KIDDING. (I normally wouldn't agree with that complaint but the numbers are pretty convincing regarding the rehiring of black head coaches). Anyway, I would be happy with Dunn as OC.

Pirate fans on the CUSA board hold him in high regard. Say he did a good job with the secondary and was a heck of a recruiter. I'd be more than happy with him coaching the DB's.
You should have Dunn get his resume together and forward it to to Holtz. Who knows if Dunn even wants a coordinator's job, is willing to take a step down or if they would even get along. We can't do anything about it on this board. I think Skip will be doing the hiring!

double D us not someone you want to run your offense. I know first hand his capabilities as a coach. Great motivator, good man, but not a d1 oc. He didn't ll plays, design plays at LC. He assisted with oline and managed.
