97.7 used to be available to listen on my ESPN Radio app. Now it's no longer listed.

Did they have some kind of falling out with the mothership?

Not sure about a fallout, but I think you can listen to the station using the "Red Peach Media" app

Looks like Red Peach broke something. The stream on their now horrible looking website doesn't work either.

I have said from day one that I -Bowl wanted to punish us for wanting better bowl ( close but not to close as Sonny said) I posted on Friday Before the Fiasco that I-bowl was "pissed " at us. Well I have supported I_bowl from the first game (mcneese) those days are over and I think they are ones being punished with the Fiasco Bowl -- rating will be horrible and so will attendance. I think we are seeing the end of Independance bowl --who would ever trust them again after way they shafted us? give me a break-- you had shot at number 1 offense in nation and last defense-- guaranteed high scoring fun game to watch --what they have now is 1 team will probably be 6-7 when its over ( i hope 7-6).

The I-Bowl really wanted Tech this year. That is truth. That's why they offered. When we asked for more time to further evaluate our possible bowl position is exactly when several of their members decided "Tech thinks that they are too good to be in our game." Then they looked at the bowl landscape and realized that the pickings were getting slim they came up with a brilliant plan. Let's strongarm Tech by puting an arbitrary deadline on them & make them take the bait. Yes it backfired for Tech but way more backfired on the Indy Bowl. Just wait until Dec 28th. No hotel, restaurant or tix revenue and a less than half full stadium on national tv. I don't think Advocare will appreciate that.

Baylor brought many more fans to that game than Ohio ever will.

"he wanted to thank Tech and the city of Ruston for bringing the sun to shine on Northeast LA everyday because obviously they are the only reason the sun comes up everyday."

Tell him that he is welcome. Ruston really does bring the sun to NELA. If they had science classes at Northeast, he would already know that.

I'll hold my comments on the attendance for after the game when I get reports or pics of the stands. I will not watch the I or the L Bowl on TV this year and I will need those reports or pics. I also don't want to give anyone a reason to artificially up the crowd after looking at this thread.

Warhawks have had at least a couple of full page ads in the Times so they are promoting. Frankly I think they will have a decent attendance and between the Shreveport crowd that shows up and tailgates and supports the game I expect a real 20-25K and they will announce something over that. No doubt the Holtz hire is stepping on some of the coverage.

Do you know for sure that LaMon paid for those ads? My guess is that it is part of the Indy promotion in an attempt to sell the "local team". LaMon is taking donations to feed the players with school being out. I doubt they are paying for worthless newspaper ads.

The only advertising I've heard on the radio is on that pathetic excuse for a Sports Radio station 100.7, and even that ad doesn't mention Ohio or nlulm. It is the same ad from the beginning of the season when they thought it would be SEC v ACC again.

If someone offers you free tickets to the I-Bowl....take them.....and ask if you can get ten more free tickets. Once you have a hand full of free tickets....put them in the shreder or tear them up and file them in the trash can!
