Are you talking about the cut-and-pasted version provided above by Tech78? Or the version on LA TECH letterhead I assume you received via email?
The email I received was formatted exactly like that.

The version I got through email was formatted just like any other professional letter would be. Correct spacing and the works. Very well done.

Then you need to get a better more professional, corporate-grade email program, because mine looks nothing like the cut and paste version. It was very professionally formatted.

But that is really besides the point of my reply to you and all the other petty bitching people on here. Nothing ever seems to be good enough for everyone on here. There is always at least one or two of you on here that wants to complain about something. We are complaining about "how a letter looks" versus the content and meaning of the letter. Good grief I just don't get it with some of you. We are supposed to be a Tech Family, that's what sets us apart from other schools. I used to enjoy coming on this board and reading about updates on our athletics program. But now it is so depressing to come on here and all people do is complain, so I avoid threads that start to head down that path. Negativity is contagious and seems to be running fervent on here...see even I'm complaining now about the complainers! From now on, if I see a complainer, I'm just gonna tell them to shut up, red dot me if you want.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll pass that on to Apple.

Re: LTAC Letter from Dr. Guice

I will argue that another thing that sets us apart is our unwillingness to accept below-par output. So, if Dr. Guice is supposed to be president of my alma mater, I expect him to produce documents worthy of that position. No, I haven't really diagnosed his letter.....however, my wife teaches business communication and I could have her critique it.

But the bigger point is this. We can be pleased, for instance, with a good 9-3 football season, and at the same time rightly point out the shortcomings, like a dead-last defense. Red dot me or tell me to shut up (although I won't!) if you want. But, I'll be damned if I'll ever accept mediocrity. That's for the UL-Xers....
