Do I remember correctly but wasn't Princess SFWS a love person at first and then was a puppet daughter of Chief Rain in the Face? Also Bob Keesham (AKA Capt Kangaroo) was the first Clarabell.

Freudian slip "love" person...!! Yes, a live lovely. Chief "thunderthud" was also a live person. Phidius T. Bluster was a marionette.

Do you remember Winky Dink and You??? You used a piece of plastic from the Winky Dink kit...stuck it to the TV screen...and then used the magic crayons to connect the dots on the screen. That usually formed a bridge of some kind of tool to help Winky Dink get away from the bad guys.

OOOOH yes. One of my first "mail order" purchases was a "Winky Dink Kit."

Hey ,70, you are too young to remember this stuff.

Memory again, I'm not sure, BUT - Captain Video and his video rangers, INDEED. Don Hastings was the "Video Ranger" I thought was the coolest, until a few years later I happened to catch a glimpse of him on a soap opera. Traumatic shock!!!

I certainly remember Winky Dink, Commando Cody. I never watched Captain Video, it was on the Monroe Station before Shreveport got one and we didn't get a TV until Shreveport got its first station. How about Space Cadets? And before the soaps there was no TV on weekdays until 3:00 pm, at least not in Shreveport. First was Pinky Lee then Howdy Doody.

    Okay more.

Captain Gallant? The Foreign Legion with Buster Crabbe as Captain Gallant with some kid named Buffy or something.

Rin Tin Tin. The only star I remember is "Yo, Rinny".

"Fury" with a young Peter Graves as the dad.

Westerns such as "Sugarfoot", "The Deputy (Henry Fonda)", "Palladin", "Wanted Dead of Alive", and of course "Bonanza" and "Gunsmoke"

Detective Shows such as "Peter Gunn", "Tightrope", "77 Sunset Strip (Cookie lend me your comb)", and "Hawaiian Eye"

    What fun we had??

I'm 65. I remember listening to the radio before we got a TV in 1955.
