Has to be one of those "AQ" middling teams that sneaks into a bowl (like GT last year) and loses. Hard to think of someone that consistently average...
Funny because GT was the first to pop in my mind. They almost qualified per that description.
GT was my first thought too. Maybe someone else affected by the Hawaii rule in years past?
How about Pitt? Went bowling '08-'12, but finished with a 6-7 losing record in '11 and '12, in addition to the non-postseason losing '07 year.
That's all I can come up with.
