Weldon was always one of my favorite players. I think he could have accomplished so much more under a better coach.
[QUOTE=TechFanno1;1359529]Dittos on Weldon-class act all the way. Do the players in Canada make a decent salary?/]
What kw said. Not bad for doing what you love 6 months out of the year.
All CFL games are on e$pn3. Three of the first five games of weeks 1 and 2 were on either NBCSN or E$PN2, but no more games will be on those networks for the next couple of weeks. Saskatchewan leads Calgary 35-21 late in the 4th quarter tonight, and the Riders have shutout the Stamps in the second half.
ETA...Saskatchewan goes to 2-0...36-21 win over Calgary.

The Edmonton Eskimos signed Livas on July 2.

The day he retires we should offer him a job as an asst AD. I can't figure out why we have failed to hire a former athlete somewhere in our athletic department, other than we are seriously under staffed and have no vision.
Livas comes across as being a humble guy that will give you everything he has on the field. http://www.esks.com/video/index/id/85663 Come to think of it, that description applies to a lot of former Tech players.
this is why I come to BBB-- 3 HAPPY posts-- Weldon -Phillip and Eric Shaw. Thanks guys for the info.
[QUOTE=TechFanno1;1359681]Let's put it into perspective - that's 8 months of work and I think the team may provide accommodation. I've run into a number of Stamps players from the south and they seem to be doing alright. Plus the CFL is just about the only shot these guys have at doing what they love to do and get paid for it.
It's crazy to live in a place where you throw out Matt Dunigan's name before TB or KM when talking about Tech.
