I don't think that NC State has the defense to stop the running game even against an untested offensive line. It will be a site to see as the run game opens up the passing lanes. If we don't score more than 50 points I'll be surprised.

I think Tech wins 30 to 27 with plenty of short passes and some good RB performance. It will be tough for their inside defensive backs to cover Hunter Lee and handle our threatening arsenal of RBs at the same time. And they wouldn't dare try to bring up help from the rear with our outside WR speed.

They have a suspect run defense and their number one rusher from last season will be out for the game. I think we win this game on the ground.

I think we win. Defense is significantly better than last year. Offense is good with a great run game which opens up the pass attack. The one area I am concerned with is the special teams. If we can get consistency in our kicking game, there is little that will stop us.
