So far he has not coached to his personnel. He is trying to do something they can't do and won't allow his coaches to coach the game he hired them to coach.

Tonight will make or break Holtz and this team. We may have him for the rest of the year if we lose tonight, but if we lose, he is a goner and won't be back for next year.

Maxie was 3-7 0-5 in conference in first yr. We were pretty bad. TB was our QB. I am frustrated but I expect Holtz to be around til he is ready to move on or contract ends

Screw it. We still should fire Holtz. He's worse than Bicknell. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while.

I don't understand the blind squirrel comparison. Blind squirrel still has 4 senses to work with. Skippy is working with much less than the squirrel.

Did they coach better tonight than in the previous games? No. Maybe they had them more prepared, but I have a hard time seeing that (either way).

Dixon was the difference this week. When he runs like that, we'll be a tough win for anyone left on our sched.
