They have signs up for a tailgate party for the game as you drive in the campus. I get so tired of having to remind people if they went to school in Shreveport, they are NOT tigers.

I was listening to 1130 AM The Tiger a little while during my drive to Ruston. One of the radio announcers was doing an onsite promo for the LSUS tailgate party today. He said you could park your RV at the LSUS tailgate party. He also said (I think) that LSU was "our school from another fool". I wish I could have someone here confirm that he said that on the air, because I swear he did.

I was hoping someone else could shed some light on that reference, since it seemed very weird to me when I heard it on the radio."our school from another fool"

GLM47...not a native of Mayberry(Shreveport)...but been here 25 years....I've been saying that for years...dead on...the powerbroker LSUBR alums here do not want to lose that "touch" out here in south SHV, as they would truly then be an official "turd in a punchbowl"....I laugh at those LSUS goobers, and tell the others they should move down there...even though we ALL know partnership economically as well any other way you can imagine with us here in SHV makes 100% logical sense....unfortunately, they dont care..
I wonder if they enjoyed that Alabama ass kicking!!! That last play said it all. The lsu qb is trying to crawl off the field after being sacked on 4 consecutive downs and no one would help him get up. It would have really been funny if an Alabama player would have gone over and helped him off the field.
